A big budget take on an old YouTube concept. Well structured and interesting from start to finish. Backrooms unfolds as a slow burn story within a lore filled maze. One that brings introspective and interpersonal reflection, questions of reality, and once again (as if a theme for the best horror films of the year) an exploration of mental health.
